摘要The Ricci flow was introduced by Hamilton and used by Perelman for the proof of the Poincaré conjecture. Chow and Luo introduced an analogous combinatorial Ricci flows and gave a new proof of Thurston’s existence of circle packing theorem. Since then, combinatorial Ricci flow has been broadly applied by Gu et al. in many important problems, such as parameterization in graphics, and cancer detection in medical imaging. In this talk, we will discuss related problems and our work on the combinatorial Ricci flows.

 

报告人简介:林爱津,国防科技大学副教授。主要研究方向为微分几何,特别是典则度量与几何曲率流的相关研究,在国际期刊Adv. Math., JFA, JGA, MRL 等发表研究论文多篇。
